October 24 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Vallejo People's Garden

About This Event

Vallejo People’s Garden is hosting a fire cider making class led by Courtney Rae of Moonlight Floreciendo and Jazzmin of Radical Wellness 4 the Collective.

Join us to create and take home your own fire cider. Learn how to make this simple yet powerful medicine perfect for the autumn and winter seasons. Fire cider is a spicy herbal tonic that combines apple cider vinegar, herbs, roots, peppers, seeds, vegetables, flowers, and honey. It’s a kitchen medicine that lets you tap into your creativity to promote health and wellness.

This is a space for all, regardless of your experience making herbal medicines. We can’t wait to see you there and make this powerful medicine together!

What to bring: a clean 8-ounce glass jar with a lid (mason jar or upcycled jar). Equipment and ingredients are provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own.

Fifteen spots are available on a sliding scale starting at fifteen dollars.

Tacos de la Milpa will be vending. Come early to enjoy their delicious food!
