Comedy comes to the Empress Theatre — Saturday, Sept. 5!
Get ready for a night of big laughs, sharp storytelling, and grown-up comedy energy in downtown Vallejo as Willie Macc and Andrea Abbate take the stage at the historic Empress Theatre.
Willie Macc brings a fast, charismatic style honed from television, film, commercials, and comedy clubs across the country. A breakout from BET’s College Hill: Virgin Island, Willie has built a career as a comedian, actor, writer, and host, with credits including CSI, The Goldbergs, Hulu’s Casual, TruTV’s Laff Mobb’s Laff Tracks, Revolt TV’s Funny AF, and more than 50 national commercials for brands including Kia, Verizon, Credit Karma, Progressive, and Snapple. He has also performed at major comedy rooms including the Laugh Factory and The Comedy Store, bringing the kind of quick crowd work and high-energy stage presence that turns a room into a party.
Sharing the bill is Andrea Abbate, a powerhouse comedian, writer, actor, performer, and producer known for smart, fearless comedy and a polished stage presence. Andrea has worked across stand-up, television writing, acting, producing, and live performance, and has brought her comedy to respected stages including The Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena. Her style is sharp, personal, and seasoned — the kind of comedy that connects with real life and keeps the room laughing.
This is a full theatre comedy night with dinner available beforehand in the Empress Marquee Club. Come early, grab dinner and drinks, then head into the theatre for a 7 PM show.
